Welcome to Coastal Coins. By using this website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Products

We specialise in genuine coins, banknotes and collectables.

Unless otherwise stated:

• All items are authentic to the best of our knowledge.
• Grades are our opinion unless the item has been professionally graded by a recognised third-party grading service (such as PCGS or NGC).
• Photographs form part of the item description. Please review all images carefully before purchasing.

Pricing

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

Prices include GST where applicable.

We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

Orders

Orders are subject to availability.

In the unlikely event an item has already sold or cannot be supplied, a full refund will be issued.

Payment

Payment is required before goods are dispatched.

We accept payment methods offered through Shopify Payments and any other payment options displayed at checkout.

Shipping

Orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days.

Shipping timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on the carrier.

Once an order has been handed to the courier, delivery is the responsibility of the shipping provider.

Returns

If an item arrives damaged, differs materially from its description, or is not authentic, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Due to the collectible nature of coins and banknotes, we do not offer returns for:

• Change of mind
• Buyer remorse
• Market value fluctuations
• Differences in personal grading opinions for raw (ungraded) items

Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 remain unaffected.

Authenticity

We stand behind the authenticity of every item we sell.

Should a recognised authority determine an item sold by us is counterfeit, we will work with you to resolve the matter in accordance with New Zealand consumer law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coastal Coins shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products.

Intellectual Property

All photographs, logos, descriptions and website content remain the property of Coastal Coins and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
