1. Are your coins and banknotes authentic?
Yes. Every item sold by Coastal Coins is guaranteed authentic. If a reputable independent third-party confirms an item is not genuine, we'll assess the claim, arrange return shipping at our expense, and provide a full refund.
2. Will I receive the exact item pictured?
Yes. Unless otherwise stated, you'll receive the exact coin or banknote shown in the listing photos.
3. Do you grade your coins or banknotes?
No. We are not professional grading experts. Any comments on condition are our opinion only. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.
4. Do you ship throughout New Zealand?
Yes. We ship nationwide using tracked delivery and carefully package every order to help ensure it arrives safely.
5. Do you sell internationally?
Not at this stage. Coastal Coins currently ships within New Zealand only.
6. How often do you add new stock?
New items are added regularly, with a strong focus on U.S. coins and banknotes, along with selected world coins and currency.
7. Can I reserve an item?
Items are generally sold on a first-paid, first-served basis. If you're interested in something, we recommend purchasing before it's gone.
8. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept secure online payments through our website using the payment options available at checkout.
9. What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us straight away. If we've made a mistake or your item has been damaged in transit, we'll work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible.
10. Do you buy coins and banknotes?
Not just yet. We're currently in the final stages of securing the necessary paperwork to do this. Once approved, we'll be able to purchase coins and banknotes directly from collectors.
11. Do you have a brick and mortar store?
As much as we would love to have a physical storefront, Coastal Coins is online only, but we'll hopefully see you around at some stage!
